Guestbook

Just a note to say a huge thank you to everyone who visits and takes the time to leave us your comments. We read them all and appreciate the comments you leave. It’s a real pleasure to keep the music and spirit of Billy alive and of course we’ll keep on doing that for many years yet. On this new site, we’ve included all the posts from the old site too, (that’s why there’s sixty plus entries all on the same day!).

Thanks again - to all of you

Colin Gold and Fury’s Tornados.

Thanks for a great show at Dudley concert hall last night and bringing back the memorys of Billy whose records I bought as a teenager in the early sixties. For me that era will always be the music which will never die, such great songs to sing along to where ever you might be.

The show was fantastic last night at Coventry - It was an emotional rollercoster for me. Billy Fury was my mums favourite singer and was devastated when he died - unfortunately my mum also died in the April of the same year - so when hearing the songs it brought back all sorts of memories and my mum would have loved t...he show. Well done and keep it going to keep the music alive.

I was at the Belgrade in Coventry last night and wanted to let you know I thought the show was incredible. One of the crowd couldn't come because of illness but when he's well enough I shall insist we go and see you again.... purely selfish reasons of course .... then I can see it again. I thought Charlie's solo was brilliant, Chris's song in memory was heartfelt and Colin's Nobody's Child so passionate there couldn't have been a dry eye in the house. Absolutely brilliant night. I'm still hoarse this morning from 'singing along'. I loved Billy when I was young and it's great you're keeping his memory alive. All credit to you.
Thanks for one of the best nights' out I've had in a very very long time.
Take care and hope to see you again soon.

Just found this 'page', well done, wonderful. I don't know if it's me or what, but these look-backs, or golden oldie programmes never seem to mention Billy. Ask for a request and it seems to be ignored. Many moons ago as a 'young adult' Billy was always mine, he sang for me no-one else, like so many others I've no doubt. But I believe he is not talked about enough, but now I've found this site, well just to say I'll be back. I'd love to see the show but alas I'm not well enough to travel, but all the best. GOOD LUCK....or is it break a leg? Keep up the good work. Jean.

Saw the show last night (Oxford), AMAZING! Your're all brilliant. That cheeky Chris! (I would rip the shirt off Colin's back). On a serious note, I was too young to appreciate Billy the first time round and heard all those great hits in the 80's. Thank you for keeping Billy's memory alive and doing a great job. Seen the show twice (Bristol), it's fantastic! Who know's I'll probally see the show again next year in frome.
Keep smiling.

Sensational show, what more can I say. I have seen the show over and over and still wait for the next one. Saw the show at Skegness a few weeks ago and again last night at Grimsby. My mum saw the real Billy Fury and said how much Colin's actions and sounds are just like Billy's. It brought back great memories for her. Thanks to all you guys for making my mums birthday special and signing her birthday card. Thanks also for taking time out to have photographs took with us. Hi, I was taken, virtually blindfold, to see you all at the Beck Theatre on 21st Nov (08) as my 60th birthday present. They couldn't have got it more right. I have always been a Billy fan and am a member of the fan club. I was touched by my friends thoughtfulness as none of the them were Billy Fury fans, although they had obviously heard of him. However, I was blown away and they were converted. We had a wonderful night and you very kindly let us take some pictures. One is blown up and has pride of place on my wall. Thank you for keeping such wonderful memories and music alive. You were all fabulous. Long may you continue. with great affection. Sue x

My mum and I went to see the show at St Georges Hall, Bradford this evening, it was out of this world, fantastic and Colin Gold was outstanding as Billy Fury. Hope you feel better soon Colin.

i bought the cd, billy fury his wondrous story, and i was transported back to my teens, the sixties what a great era to be a teenager. not only for the music and fashion but you could understand and relate to what our idols were singing, you could also sing along to the music. great times and great memories forever.

Hi
Saw you last week in Manchester. Absolutely amazing. However, just one criticism, I didn't come away on a high. The evening seemed to end on a bit of a sad low. I think if you had made the tributes after the interval then played the sad songs and ended on a high with "Halfway" been the last song then I think the feelgood factor would have been greater. Other than that, fantastic.

Hi there, i saw your show a couple of years ago in the Princess theatre Torquay, was a great show. I did get a post card signed from you, it was a card Billy gave my parents, you ask where i got it from, when i told i do not think you believed me. Billy spent his last christmas with my family, i remember him very well although i was only seven at the time! Will try and come and see your show in dorset as was great last time, but sad. Some of the audience in torquay said` your a bit young to watch this` as most were old people, when i said i knew him, i dont think they believed me! Oh well, am lucky to have met him, is a great show you perform, hope to see you again this year, Eliot.
