Just a note to say a huge thank you to everyone who visits and takes the time to leave us your comments. We read them all and appreciate the comments you leave. It’s a real pleasure to keep the music and spirit of Billy alive and of course we’ll keep on doing that for many years yet. On this new site, we’ve included all the posts from the old site too, (that’s why there’s sixty plus entries all on the same day!).

Thanks again - to all of you

Colin Gold and Fury’s Tornados.

Saw the show in Bradford this week. It is incredible to believe that the tornados could work with such a brilliant talent as Billy and then get a chance to re-live it all with someone as talented as Colin Gold. Keep living the dream for yourselves and the audiences. Thank you for brining back the memories.

i bought the cd, billy fury his wondrous story, and i was transported back to my teens, the sixties what a great era to be a teenager. not only for the music and fashion but you could understand and relate to what our idols were singing, you could also sing along to the music. great times and great memories forever.

Hi
Saw you last week in Manchester. Absolutely amazing. However, just one criticism, I didn't come away on a high. The evening seemed to end on a bit of a sad low. I think if you had made the tributes after the interval then played the sad songs and ended on a high with "Halfway" been the last song then I think the feelgood factor would have been greater. Other than that, fantastic.

Hi there, i saw your show a couple of years ago in the Princess theatre Torquay, was a great show. I did get a post card signed from you, it was a card Billy gave my parents, you ask where i got it from, when i told i do not think you believed me. Billy spent his last christmas with my family, i remember him very well although i was only seven at the time! Will try and come and see your show in dorset as was great last time, but sad. Some of the audience in torquay said` your a bit young to watch this` as most were old people, when i said i knew him, i dont think they believed me! Oh well, am lucky to have met him, is a great show you perform, hope to see you again this year, Eliot.

We saw the show earlier this year in Maidstone (not the best venue) the sound was a little thin but we really enjoyed the show. On our second visit we realised why the sound was a bit thin at Maidstone,Charlie was not at the Maidstone show and the sound was so much more complete with his piano/keyboard playing. Great show, we will be back. Looking forward to volume 2 of the DVD.

I'm 64 now and, like most people my age, spend more time looking back than forward. I have a great interest in music , particularly music of the 50s and early 60s - my formative years. I tell you what - I loved Billy then and I love him now. As a teenager I modelled myself upon him and, if he was alive today, I know I still would. God bless you Billy. You'll live forever.

Saw you's in April at Great Yarmouth (Classic Gold Weekend)
and last Friday in our new theatre in Dunstable. What did you think of The Grove Theatre?

As I commented to you in Yarmouth, there were many original & many tribute bands featured - but you guys presented a LITERAL TRIBUTE to an English Legend. The Story you present is tastefully told with humour, emotion & interest...AND with some GREAT MUSIC!
Speaking as a fella born in 53, I knew of Billy Fury, but was unaware until now of the great ballads you guys made.By the way Colin,we now know why they named it a CLASSIC GOLD W/End!

Cheers
Pete.
